Last nights Mayoral debate was held at O’Gorman, and had all three candidates out to discuss the key issues facing the city, and take questions from the public. Over the course of the hour long debate, Steve Black, Todd Lever, and Allan Manchester sounded off in ten different areas. Some of the topics discussed were how to improve the downtown core, taxes, and policing costs. The way over budget Mattagami Waste Water Treatment Plant was also discussed at length, and had the candidates debate what the best course of action is to go forward.
