City to Proclaim a Moose FM Day

Tomorrow the City of Timmins will proclaim December 7^th as Moose FM Day.

This is because 93.1 Moose FM and MyTimminsNow.Com are teaming up with the Schumacher Lions Club to raise funds for the Stan Fowler Fund. From 6:00am to 6:00pm on December 7^th, both the Lions Club and Moose FM will be collecting donations through the Feeding Families Radiothon to buy food vouchers for local families in need.

The vouchers will be given to families who can’t afford to have a Christmas diner. The club says it helped just over 300 families last year.

You can stop by the Moose or Schumacher Lions Club on December 7^th to make a donation.
