The passenger involved in Tuesday’s collision on Highway 11 in the McGoig Township (about 80 kilometres west of Hearst) has died. He was airlifted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries yesterday. The accident killed the driver of the transport truck he was in, and sent the other driver to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. Highway 11 was reopened yesterday after the scene was cleared, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was 20 year old Singh Ravinder of Etobicoke. His passenger was 52 year old Gurmeet Singh Brar of Hamilton.
