Nick Stewart, the Timmins Chamber Manager of Policy, Research, and Communications, has been awarded with a national recognition. At the Canadian Chamber’s AGM in PEI last week, Stewart was one of 450 candidates and was awarded Canada’s 2014 Chamber Staff Person of the Year. Stewart’s dedicated efforts to serve as the voice of Timmins businesses at all levels of government on such issues as energy prices, labour challenges, and the Ring of Fire was the reason for the award.
