You can now start filling your phones and MP3 players with Stars and Thunder 2018 artists.
The City of Timmins has released the names of the artists set to perform at the $5,725,000 eight-day music festival. The artists for round two of Stars and Thunder include:
Sunday, June 24th (Saint Jean Baptiste Day) –Â Eric Lapointe, Roch Voisine, LGS, and Celeste Levis
Monday, June 25th –Â Blue Rodeo, Colin James and Midnight Shine
Tuesday, June 26th –Â Marianas Trench, Virginia to Vegas and Julian Taylor Band
Wednesday, June 27th – Burton Cummings and Sloan
Thursday, June 28th – Gord Bamford, Lindsay Ell, Aaron Goodvin and Chris Buck Band
Friday, June 29th – Paul Brandt, High Valley, and Nice Horse
Saturday, June 30th – The Beach Boys, Arkells, Alan Doyle and 54-40
Sunday, July 1st (Canada Day) – Bryan Adams, Our Lady Peace, Matthew Good and Sons of Maxwell
Fireworks will be returning again in 2018 with the following schedule:
Sunday, June 24th –Â Team Brazil
Tuesday, June 26th –Â Team Finland
Thursday, June 28th –Â Team China
Sunday, July 1st –Â Team Canada
The festival will run from June 24th to July 1st. Tickets will be available to Timmins residents on November 16th and to the rest of the world on November 17th.
