Timmins Police are thanking a local resident for their help with a high intensity incident. On Friday night, Police received a call about a man threatening to jump from the overpass at Algonquin and Spruce. Police, Cochrane EMS, and the Timmins fire department were all on scene, and the subject was pulled to safety. Tim Trevenna, a local volunteer who is running in Ward Four in October, blocked the road so cars couldn’t get past, letting officers diffuse the situation.
