Residents Sound Off on City Tax Increase

People have taken to the streets to complain about the recent tax increase.

Raymond Burey and his wife Mary were protesting the 2.14 per cent tax hike outside of City Hall today. Burey says tax payers can’t afford the constant increases.

He says he believes there is a lot of waste at City Hall.

Mary says City Council should take a real look at what the demographic of the city needs, and not its Christmas wish list.
