A Timmins tattoo artist has been selected to compete in 2018 Northern Ink Xposure Tattoo Convention in Toronto.
Pure Addiction Studio will be competing against tattooist selected from across the world next June in categories such as tattoo of the day, full sleeve, medium colour and realism. Billy Harten says the support from the community has been overwhelming, but there is something that has to be said.
Harten says he will be the human canvas for all of Jess’s tattoos including a 75 hour tattoo. Harten is already covered in tattoos and says he has limited space for Jess to work with.
He adds that something he and Jess has that the other’s don’t is there chemestry. Harten says Jess started her tattooing career by doing a 500 hour piece on his body, so they know how to work with each other.
