Doors Open coming back to Timmins

Doors Open is coming back to Timmins.  The event gives residents access to historical sites for one day, free of charge.  This year’s list of sites includes the Airport Hotel which was built in 1940, the Timmins Fire Hall which was constructed in 1957 and the Timmins Memorial Cemetery which was built 100 years ago.  Other site visits include the McIntyre Head Frame and Hollinger House.  Open Doors in Timmins is a Canada 150 project and takes place September 30th.  Go online to www.doorsopenOntario.on.ca for detailed information like when sites are available for viewing.
