A crowd of almost 50 gathered in Cochrane to oppose the sale of Ontera to Bell. Cochrane’s Mayor, Peter Politis, provided his support at Friday’s rally that included many Northern leaders, Aboriginal Leaders, and employee associations. The main concerns with the sale are Bell having a monopoly in the Northeast, job loss, and additional costs to tax payers. The sale is set to close on October 1st.
