A 19-year-old Timmins man is facing multiple charges after an alleged assault and theft.
The Timmins Police Service says it is alleged that on August 2nd, the man physically assaulted someone while socializing at a local home. Police say the victim was taken to hospital for minor injuries. The man is facing charges at assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and breach of probation.
Officers say he is also facing charges for an incident back on July 17th where he allegedly stole some liquor from the LCBO. The man is also facing charges of theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation for this incident.
Police say he is in custody awaiting his next court date.
