A newly beautified garden in Timmins has been dedicated to Threads of Life.
Local Steps for life volunteers took one of the garden areas along Gillies Lake and have dedicated it to an organization that supports individuals and families affected by workplace tragedies.
Threads of Life Family Support Manager Kate Kennington says Timmins in the first community to dedicate a garden to the cause.
Kennington says a part of the garden is shaped like a boot print to help support the Steps for Life campaign. There is a plaque at the garden that explains what Threads of Life does and how to contact them.
Here are some pictures of the garden.
