New RV Dumping Station in Timmins

Tourism Timmins made an announcement to make the lives of RV users in Timmins easier. Rubino’s Petro Canada, on Highway 101 in South Porcupine, is now offering a free RV dumping station for septic tanks in motor homes, the only one of its kind in Timmins. Guy Lamarche from Tourism Timmins says this will bring tourists into the city, and it could be the reason those with motor homes come into the city. Ward 2 Councilor, John Curley who spearheaded the project, agrees, saying there is easy access for those driving up Highway 11, to turn onto 101 and use the station. He calls it good news for the city. The dumping station is available now, and free water fill up will be available next summer.
