The Timmins police and Youth in Policing are holding bike rodeos over the next week. The events teach kids how to ride safely and include information like knowing hand signals when turning or stopping and helmet safety. Youngsters who take in one of the rodeos will get Helmet On passes to places like Neo Laser Tag or the Hollinger Mini-Putt. The first bike rodeo is Tuesday at the Porcupine Mall parking lot from 11:00am to 3:00pm. The Hollinger Mini-Putt hosts the second bike rodeo on August 1st followed by the last rodeo August 2nd at the McIntyre Arena parking lot. Youngsters are reminded to show up with their bike helmets.
