Timmins MP Charlie Angus is calling for action on Canada’s Pension Plan. He says conservatives are mismanaging the issue, and there is urgent need for action from the federal government. A recent survey shows almost 70% of Canadians think the feds should take action to ensure safe retirement, either through savings programs, or income support. Angus says while the premiers meet to discuss the pending crisis, conservatives are making it worse by blocking increases to public pensions eroding access to good quality company pensions.
