News Timmins Police Chase Ends in Charges SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Tuesday, Aug. 26th, 2014 Multiple Charges were laid after a police chase through the city. Saturday’s chase happened when Timmins Police got a call about an erratic driver, and after trying to pull him over, he took off and tried to drive away. Police eventually pulled the 37-year-old man over at Algonquin and Waterloo. He has been charged with various drug offences, resisting an officer, and flight from an officer. He appeared in court Monday for a bail hearing.
