Tim Hortons and Burger King have reached a deal to create the world’s 3rd largest quick service restaurant company. The deal will see both food chains headquartered by a mega-company in Canada, then publicly listed for world markets. Tim Hortons and Burger King will still run as standalone brands. The new company now owns over 18, 000 restaurants in 100 countries worldwide.Â
