Torch Ride for Special Olympics nears

The Law Enforcement Torch Ride for Special Olympics is all set in Timmins. Twenty-two motorcyclists will leave Timmins a week from today and make their way to Sudbury. After that it’s onto Manitoulin Island to board the Chi-Cheemaun ferry for Tobermory with a stop in Collingwood. After the Collingwood visit, the motorcyclists make their way to North Bay a week from Sunday and then it’s back to Timmins. Over the years the riders have raised more than $10,000 for Special Olympics.
