Hydrant flushing will continue this week in two areas in Timmins.
This week crews will be flushing fire hydrants between Mountjoy Street South and Pine Street South, as well as Algonquin Boulevard East heading south. City crews will be doing the same in South Porcupine from Quebec Street heading north and from Harold Avenue heading south.
Flushing allows the city to inspect and collect water information. During the flushing, you may experience a short term loss in water pressure and brown or rust coloured water.
The city says you should not drink the water or do laundry until the colour goes back to normal.
