Canada’s first woman astronaut talked with students at Timmins High and O’Gorman High.
Roberta Bondar came to Timmins yesterday to tell students about her time in space, as well as put forward a Canada 150 challenge. Bondar says she wants people in the community to take pictures of things in the environment they would like to still be here 150 years from now.
Bondar says this is a way to inspire youth to create change.
