The month of May has been proclaimed as Multiple Sclerosis Carnation Month in the City of Timmins.
This is a campaign where local MS groups sell carnations to raise money and awareness for the disease. President of the local board Selina Natt says having members out in the community gives them the opportunity to tell people about the services and help they can provide.
You can buy a carnation at many locations around town and support MS from Thursday to Saturday.
