A Hearst man has been arrested after a short chase with the OPP.

The OPP says at about three in the morning on Sunday, police were doing a traffic stop on Front Street in Hearst. As officers approached the vehicle, the 21-year-old driver fled. The OPP says the vehicle was stolen.

The man is facing three charges including theft over $5,000 and racing a vehicle. His license has been suspended for seven days and he will appear in court on June 7th.
