Two more grant applications have been approved for Star and Thunder.

The City of Timmins has received nine thousand dollars from the Minister of Canadian Heritage and just over 11 thousand dollars from Celebrate Ontario 2017. Mayor Steve Black says this provincial and federal support will help offset some of the costs.

Black says there are a few other grant applications the city is waiting to hear back from.
