Students from Timmins High and Vocational School have shown their robotics skills at this year’s First Robotics Competition.
Team 4704 Northern Lights Robotics, made of 20 students, built a robot in six weeks to compete at two Steamworks Competitions. The students were able to place in the semifinals in North Bay.
Principal Greg Vincze says this was a great learning experience for the students and staff at the school. Vincze says this has inspired the school to add a robotics course to next year’s school calendar.
