The fight for women’s economic empowerment is still an ongoing battle.
Tuesday marked Equal Pay Day in Ontario.
According to Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson, there are Northern Ontarians being paid differently because of their gender.
Bisson says this is on ongoing problem.
He says this is something that needs to change.
