You are asked to help celebrate anti-discrimination in Timmins.
The Timmins and District Multicultural Centre is hosting an “Evening of Applause” to recognize some of the community’s outstanding role models. Coordinator Tom Baby says some of these role models are students who are looking to eliminate racial discrimination.
Baby says they will also be inducting another person onto the Human Rights Wall of Fame.
The event runs from 6:30pm to 8:30pm tonight at College Boreal.
