Six Timmins high school students will be heading south to compete in the Provincial Skills Competition.
The skills competition has students compete in challenges within the skills trade sector like carpentry, automotive and robotics. District School Board Ontario North East Chair Doug Shearer says these students would have placed within the top three at the board’s annual regional competition.
The provincial competition will be held in Toronto from May 1st to 3rd.
