News Bean Sprout Recall SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Wednesday, Jul. 9th, 2014 If you have bean sprouts at home right now, double check to make sure they are not part of an Ontario wide recall. There is possible salmonella contamination in the Fresh Sprouts 454 gram bag, with an expiry date of July 7th. So far there have been no reports of illnesses from the sprouts, but the Canadian Food Inspection Agency says you should throw them out, or return them.
