Students at Timmins Centennial Public School are being sent home, due to a water main break outside the school.

Parents are currently being contacted by phone. School buses will be returning to the school at 11:30am to pick up students. If parents are able to pick up their child before 11:30am they are encouraged to do so.

Board officials are being told that the water main will not be repaired until the end of the school day.

The board expects the situation to be fixed by tomorrow morning.
