A new Spring Institute is coming to the Northern College Timmins Campus.
Northern and Algoma University are teaming up to provide a special one week intensive program. Algoma Department Chair Sheila Gruner says this program will focus on community approaches to consultation and consent in First Nation communities.
Gruner says the program is trying to make university education relevant for communities. This program will be open to current students as well as community members.
The course will run from June 19th to 23rd.
