Back on February 15th, 2016 James Bay OPP were called regarding an allegation of fraud. Police determined a man and woman had made withdrawals from an account of an elderly person without legal authorization. The OPP says a 56 year-old Kapuskasing man was arrested and charged with Fraud over $5,000, as well as unauthorized possession of a firearm. Officers add that a 33 year-old woman from Kapuskasing was arrested and charged with fraud under $5,000, as well as possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. The two accused have been released with an understanding that they will appear in court on June 5th.
