After waiting for over a year, the Refugee Sponsorship Committee has welcomed a family of five, including three children under 11-years-old, to town. Committee Chairman Tom Baby says it was a heartwarming experience to put a face to the name and number they have been working with. //www.mytimminsnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/refugees-arrive-2.mp3 Baby says over the next three months, they will be working with the family to set up everything like bank accounts and transportation. He adds that the committee has over $90,000 in community donations and will be using it to hopefully bring in a second family. Baby says they have sent out the application and are waiting to hear back.
