News Local thrift shop closing temporarily SHARE ON: Matt Sitler, contributor, Thursday, Jun. 26th, 2014 Many residents of Timmins are disappointed to learn the St-Vincent-de-Paul thrift shop will be closing. The doors officially close on Friday, at least for a while. A financial administrator for the Diocese of Timmins says the closing is temporary while the store is being reviewed. It has been operating at a loss for the past two years, and if no solutions are found it may be closed permanently.
