A student at Theriault Catholic Secondary School has been awarded a $500 bursary for his college education. Alexandre Walsh is this year’s recipient for environmental conservation from the Wintergreen Fund for Conservation. Alexandre is headed to Fleming College in Lindsay where he’s enrolled in the Fish and Wildlife Technician program. The Wintergreen group awards a bursary each year to a high school student who pursues post-secondary conservation or environmental studies.
