This mild weather has caused ice to melt.
The OPP is warning that ice on rivers and lakes in our region may not be safe anymore. Constable Michelle Simard says you need to be aware of the thickness and quality of the ice before going on to it.
Simard says you should avoid going on the ice until we get some colder weather.
