Some upgraded safety measures could be coming to South Porcupine streets.
Council wants to add a four-way stop at Golden Avenue and Legion Drive. They also want to reduce the speed limit from 50 to 40 kilometres an hour on Tisdale Street between Smith Avenue and Langmuir Road.
Council has received many safety complaints in these two areas because lots of children live or play there. City Staff presented reports to council showing their support for the changes.
Council will be voting on these changes at tonight’s council meeting.
