Glencore Nickel has released some health and safety numbers from its various operations. Workers at a Sudbury operation hit five million hours this year without incurring any lost time due to injuries. The same workers were able to reduce the injury frequency rate by 60 percent. Glencore takes the position that all occupational diseases and injuries can be prevented and everyone has to take responsibility to achieve this.
