Children are invited to the Timmins Museum for its new “Kids Celebrate!” exhibition.
This exhibition is aimed at teaching children between the ages of five and 12 about the different cultures within Canada. Museum Director Karen Bachman says this is a very hands-on exhibition. Bachman says there are crafts, games, activities and dress up opportunities. She says it’s a fun way for kids to learn about different celebrations like Chinese New Year, India’s Diwali and even Canada day.
The museum will host the free exhibition until April 20th.
