The Porcupine Health Unit is hoping for a good turn out to its immunization clinics over the winter months. The local health unit says one of the big reasons residents use the clinics is because there are many vaccines available for free which are not publicly funded. Parents are being asked to check their children’s and their own immunization records as many school boards in the region require them to be up-to-date. The clinics are appointment only and can be made online or by calling the Timmins location.
