Public Works and Engineering Look for a Budget Increase

Timmins Public Works and Engineering is asking city council for a budget increase of 7.65 per cent. This is an increase of $1,382,950, bringing the total budget to $19, 464, 650. Head of Public Works Luc Duval says $1-million will go into the roads program and the rest will cover regular increases to the capital and operational costs. Council will review this and vote on a later date.
