The Timmins Human Rights Wall of Fame is now available for viewing. The wall displays student artwork to raise awareness of human rights and anti-discrimination. Timmins Immigration Partnership Coordinator Tom Baby says it also hosts pictures of those who fight discrimination in our community. Baby says the idea is for people to nominate local leaders who fight all types of discrimination in our community to be inducted on the wall. He says this is a great way to recognize those who fight for local equality. The wall is displayed in the foyer of the Timmins Public Library.
