News Police Out in Full Force this New Year’s Eve SHARE ON: Mackenzie Read, contributor, Friday, Dec. 30th, 2016 Police are reminding New Year’s Eve partiers that officers will be out making sure all drivers are sober and drug free. Interim Communications Coordinator with the Timmins Police Service Marc Depatie says people should be planning safe rides or accommodations before heading out. Depatie says there are too many avenues made available for people to get home safe for there to be anyone drunk or high behind the wheel. He says we should all start 2017 by getting home safe and having avoided criminal charges.
