The City of Timmins has announced the local sponsors for the Canada Day fireworks. The 28 sponsors came together to donate a total of $50,000. Mayor Steve Black says this speaks to both the generosity and support from our local businesses.Black says They have supported the Canada Day fireworks in the past and have ramped it up this year to match the scale of the Stars and Thunder Festival. This contribution will not only support the firework show, but also offset some of the other costs associated with the eight day festival.
