News Timmins Couple Makes Christmas Boxes for Children in Need SHARE ON: Mackenzie Read, contributor, Monday, Dec. 19th, 2016 A couple in Timmins is taking donations to make Christmas Boxes to give to families in need. Nancy and Derek Porter hope to collect enough toys and clothes to make 30 boxes for children in the Timmins, Iroqouis Falls and Cochrane areas. Nancy says she is really lacking in items for kids between 10 and 15-years-old. She says they are looking for items such as bath stuff, makeup and clothes for the older children. She says people can nominate the families that the boxes go to. Anyone who knows a family in need can message Nancy Porter. The Porters will be collecting donations until December 20th and will deliver the boxes on the 22nd and 23rd.
