Timmins council wants to vote on its master plan for culture, tourism and recreation next month. But before it does it wants residents to comment on the proposal one more time. Initiatives include building a twin ice pad arena and aquatics facility that also includes curling. Once that happens the Mountjoy Arena would be redesigned for indoor sports like soccer while the Mac arena would become a cultural centre.
