It’s a heavy fine for a North Bay-area man after he was convicted of removing wood from Crown land. Brandon Illerbrun was fined $4,000. In November 2014, a forestry worker saw Illerbrun cut and remove wood from a logging operation without permission. In addition to the hefty fine, Illerbrun got two years of probation.
