There should be a lot of buzz in Attawapiskat Friday. That’s when actors Duane Howard and Michelle Thrush arrive in the community with gift-filled shoe boxes for students. Spokesman Rex Knapaysweet says Canadians across the country filled the boxes and one goal is to make residents of the reserve feel good. The boxes were filled under the program I Love First Peoples.
