MADD in Timmins is once again joining forces with the city police and OPP to launch Campaign 911. The annual event encourages the public to call police whenever they see impaired drivers. Nationally, Campaign 911 was launched in 2007. Figures show that each day, an average of four Canadians are killed in impaired driving incidents each and more than 200 people are injured.
