Timmins council has approved a one million dollar expansion to its museum. The building will be renovated so it can house Tourism Timmins and the city’s Economic Development Council. About half of the renovation money is coming from the Canada Culture Spaces Program. The city will kick in the rest which includes $39,000 from the museum reserve fund.
