Flooding worries ease

There’s some good news for people living along the Ivanhoe River watershed.  The Ministry of Natural Resources has downgraded its flood warning to a flood watch.  The MNR says not only have levels in the Ivanhoe river and lake stabilized, they might also recede over the next several days.  However the ministry adds low-lying regions in the Foleyet areas could still flood so residents in these parts have to remain vigilant.  Meanwhile Highway 101 east remains closed because of two washouts.  It’s still not known when it will re-open.
